Baz Dennis Baz Dennis sadly passed away on Friday 20th April; he died in his flat of a massive heart attack.
Baz first went to the (original) Kings Head  pub in the late 1950, when he was apparently thrown out for being under age, and was a regular in the Kings Head from the 1960s onward.He was one of the original members of the Kings Head Chess Club, and an active committee member, captain of the Middlesex League 3rd Team, and key to many of our Social Events, including the annual Christmas Dinner and the trip to Dunkirk. He was laid to rest on 8th May at Kensal Rise Cemetery, and had a Humanist Ceremony which ended, rather fittingly, with a glass of whiskey being placed on his coffin to the song ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’ from the Monty Python film The Life of Brian.He will be sadly missed.
